I am so sad she is gone; she was a wonderful, warm, deeply kind and funny person whom I came to think of as much more than my aunt. The year I lived with her while I was in grad school in New York was such fun, filled with great, candid stories about relatives I had been too young to know; random tea breaks; stories about her years as an editor in the wilds of NY publishing; and the infinite pleasures of her tiny attack kitten Riffraff. I miss her very much and am glad to have had not just the varied pleasures of living under her roof but also the chance to create new friendships with my cousins. She was one of the best, and she has left a big hole in my heart.
