From Jennifer Fisher:
Annik, I knew your mother from our editor days at Kensington in the early 90's. I was just out of college and not only was new to publishing but was a Midwesterner making her way in NYC. Your mother was a constant delight. Always enthusiastic and full of energy, she came to work each day with a smile. She was so proud of her children that I got to know you all through her stories. And Growltiger. She was my dog too. To me, Ann epitomized a true editor. She was excellent with words and the English language and she was also a fierce proponent of her writers. She never took "no" lightly and fought hard to get her point across. My respect for Ann is boundless. She will be missed.
